2008 re-cap, Christmas and Happy Birthday Rochelle (sorry we stole your cake!)

Wow, I can't believe it's 2009 now.  This past year has flown by.  Here is a quick recap of some of the major events that happened in 08 (or at least that I have a picture of and can remember right now, without giving too much thought.)

Our sweet little Aubrey Lyn was born June 1, 2008.  Weighing in at 6lbs 12oz and 19 in long.  Labor was quick and easy (I am using easy as a relative term =)), I was only in the hospital 4 hours before she was born.  She is such a sweet baby and is always smiling.  At 5 weeks, she got a fever and when I called the doctor (thinking it was no big deal), she told me to take her to the ER right away.  Any fever under the age of 2 months is a big deal.  We ended up in the hospital for 3 days doing numerous tests trying to figure out why she had a fever.  It was the scariest experience for me seeing my tiny newborn baby so sick and in the hospital.  Long story short, everything turned out okay and she ended up having a virus and was later fine.  We are so grateful for our little "Aubas" and that she is happy and healthy!!
Laid some tile in the kitchen (random, I know, but I had a picture )

My sweet cousin Megan got married in September.  She was such a beautiful bride and the wedding was great!!  Aren't her colors so fun!

My hard working hubby finished up another year of school.  This last semester he took 13 credits and ended up with straight A's.  I am so proud of how hard he works for our family!!

Our sweet little Brinley turned 2 in October.  She is such a big girl now!!  She is also potty trained-  YAY!!  She loves wearing her big girl "ponties" (panties) and "don't pee in dis" anymore.  When we are getting dressed, she always says "momma, I no pee in dis (her panties)"  So cute!

Christmas was great!!  Every year we go to Jason's grandparents house on Christmas Eve.  We always have great food and a great time.  They bought a cake from Costco for dessert that night and when they opened it up to serve, they saw it said Happy Birthday Rochelle.  FYI..  we don't have a Rochelle in the family.  Jason's grandpa laughed and said "I don't know I just grabbed a cake".  So sorry Rochelle for stealing your carrot cake, hope you had a nice birthday anyway!

My family on Christmas morning at my parents.

Such a cute post! I'm SO dumb that when I first opened this I didn't read the title and I was like, "when did Stacy have a 3rd baby?!" Then I paid attention! LOL That is great that Brinley is completely potty trained. Good job! We haven't seen you guys in FOREVER!
